The outside mirrors the inside

How you carry yourself, dress, eat, and design your work all reflect your inner state and accumulated taste—the outside mirrors the inside.

How you carry yourself, how you think, your habitus—it's a reflection of your inner state. How you dress, your choices, your taste, the way you design your work: all of it, a readout.

And taste is acquired. It's an accretion of everything you've been exposed to—the environments that taught you what's good, what's not, what's acceptable. So what shows up in your choices is really the sum of what you've lived.

The outside mirrors the inside. You can't fake the readout for long. Build the inside, and the rest follows.
