Different dishes
DJs are cooks making different dishes—a baker handing out brownies and a hibachi chef aren't ranked, just doing different jobs at different scales.
Two DJs aren't better and worse—often they're just cooks making different dishes. One is a baker handing out brownies at the door. The other is a hibachi chef working the grill in front of a table.
Neither one is wrong. They're built for different rooms, different appetites, different scales—two different dishes, not a better cook and a worse one. Once you know which dish you're making, you stop measuring it against a kitchen that was never yours.
