Rendering is the missing piece
The thinking is in place; the missing piece is rendering. What does the thinking become—what's the output, and what's the medium?
The thinking has never been my problem. I can map anything, connect anything, fill notebooks. The piece that keeps going missing is rendering—what the thinking actually becomes once it leaves my head.
Two questions decide it: what's the output, and what's the medium? Until I answer those, the thinking just circles. The last step is the one I keep skipping, and it's the only one that puts the thought into the world.
