Feed the flywheel

Creativity is the interpretation and expression of collected experience—so keep feeding it.

Creativity isn't something you have—it's what happens when you connect things you've already collected. It's the interpretation and expression of your own experiences, which means it runs dry if you stop gathering them.

A creator I follow described it as a flywheel: to make something worth capturing, he had to keep going out and living things worth capturing. Same for me—my sharpest ideas come after I move my body and sit in silence, letting the connections form. So feed it. The output is only ever as rich as what you've put in.
